At the UT Arlington Autocross event held on October 12, 2024, Alex Rivera represented MSU Texas as driver #171 for Mustangs Motorsports. While he did not complete a full timed lap due to back-to-back DNFs, his presence was far from inconsequential. Alex clocked a 100.343-second attempt in his first run before encountering an issue that ended the run early.
